La policía dijo que hay mucha más presencia y que están obteniendo buenos resultados. “Hemos programado para que durante las horas pico tengamos doble cobertura y está funcionando muy bien”, dijo el oficial Steve Rose. SANDY SPRINGS (AFP). A look around the new city of Sandy Springs shows that the new Police Department seems to be everywhere. For a stranded motorist that's a good thing, but not everyone is happy with the stepped up presence.

But many others feel served, protected and safer.

Police said there is a much bigger presence and they are getting results. “We’ve designed it so during peak hours we have double coverage and it's working really well," said Lieutenant Steve Rose. Rose said the department has hit the ground running, with a bank robber, carjackers and an auto break in ring already behind bars.
